About Our Courses

These online courses are approved by the state of North Carolina to provide the admission certificate necessary to take the state licensing exam for a Life Insurance license or Health Insurance license. Here are other important details:

The Certificate of Completion (admission ticket) gained once you have successfully passed the course is required to take the state exam to earn a license
Each course is 20 hours in length, and no more than 8 hours may be taken in any one calendar day
The final exam is 150 multiple choice questions and must be completed within 150 minutes (2½ hours), and you have unlimited attempts to pass with a score of 70% or better
The Certificate of Completion (admission ticket) is available for immediate download
The Certificate of Completion (admission ticket) gives you five attempts over a 90-day period to pass the state licensing exam; if you do not pass the state exam in five tries or before the 90-day period is over, you must retake the pre-licensing course and pass again

Once you pass the state exam, you must complete an electronic application on the National Insurance Producer Registry website
